Honor guards are an intricate part of a majority of ceremonies beyond just a color guard who post and retires the colors at events or in parades. The are present during funeral services for folding the flag and presenting Old Glory to the next of kin, they can also provide a 21 gun salute for those who served in combat zones. Honor guards can be the master of many ceremonies to include retirements and promotions. They also over see the retirement of Old Glory herself with a sacred and solemn ceremony.
If you are in need of a color guard, we recommend contacting the
Highlander Composite Squadron to request their color guard present the Colors for your event.
